Comments Off on Lord of Tears – Indie Creepfest

Lord of TearsLord of Tears is a British Chiller in the classic tradition of films such as The Wickerman, The Innocents and The Haunting. Our story concerns a man trapped in a crumbling mansion, stalked by Owl Headed monster in the misty highlands of Scotland, on a mission to piece together a childhood broken apart by repressed memory and dark secrets. It takes inspiration from classic mythology, ancient history and modern legends such as those of – Slender Man!

I became aware of Lord of Tears through a fellow blogger a couple of weeks back and visions of the Owlman have haunted my waking hours ever since. It’s twisted, mind-bending visage is sure to leave a lasting impression on the face of horror. I haven’t seen a more disturbing “monster” in a long time, kudos to Writer/Director team Sarah Daly and Lawrie Brewster for creating one uniquely horrific fiend with the Owlman. The trailer exudes a creepy, brooding psychological horror; depicting the apparent descent into madness of a tormented schoolteacher. Set against the bleak and forbidding Scottish highlands, Lord of Tears promises to be every indie horror fans wet dream.

After watching the trailer, there’s definitely something about the Owlman that gets under my skin.Bloody Disgusting
